This CD contains some of the most representative works of the traditional repertoire of the Orfeó Català. Those works enlightened the Catalan choral ambiance at the beginning of the XXth Century, giving it a Llum nova. Choral sardanas , emblematic songs, the hymn of the Orfeó El cant de la senyera, songs of prominent composers and composition of Lluis Millet, its founder, are gathered in this CD and beautifully performed by the Cobla Sant Jordi and the Orfeó Català.
