Picasso y la música

In Picasso´s world music and poetry were inseparable of his paintings, music that inspired paintings and paints that inspired by music. This CD contains selection of song based on a trip along his relationships, poetical and musical contacts and influences between Barcelona and Pairs. In Barcelona he frequently visited Els quatre gats, a bar where he dealt with poets, and musicians attracted by its Parisian atmosphere: Albéniz and Granados are his musical references related to French and Spanish poets (Bécquer, Loti, A. of Musset...). In Paris, the meeting point was Closerie des lilas and his friends and collaborators Max Jacob and Francis Poulenc where those who mainly introduced him to French poets and musicians, but other important references are Satie, Cocteau, Apollinaire, Eluard, Nin, Garcia Lorca or Debussy.
