Josep Fuster and Isabel Hernández have a very solid track record in the field of Chamber Music. Their interpretive maturity and their extraordinary musical sensitivity have made them figures of reference in the field of music and teaching.
From a technical point of view, this duo´s performances are second to none, but the beauty of the sound and the elegant phrasing are even more remarkable than their technical excellence.

This third CD in the series "Virtuosic Music", and fifth by the Fuster-Hernández duo, combines pieces which are different both in terms of character and creative approach in search of new musical horizons, as befits performers of such calibre who are constantly in the process of evolution and self-perfection. Rather than merely completing the earlier volumes and other previous musical ventures (some of which were released by Columna Música), the present compilation responds to an exploration of the aesthetics of the 20th century and part of the 21st century. An arc spanning over a century is established in order to show the vitality of the clarinet as a solo instrument, particularly within the current Spanish and Catalan context.
