The three symphonic compositions by Joan Guinjoan featured on the present CD faithfully represent the great Catalan composers creative maturity. From this point of view, the first composition (chronologically speaking) Ab Origine was absolutely crucial, and the other two featured pieces date from the same, highly productive period: 1982-83.
