Guinjoan: In Memoriam

Second volume dedicated to the chamber works of the composer Joan Guinjoan. The chamber music of Joan Guinjoan speaks to us of a penetrating, intelligent and multi-faceted composer, who evades historiographical labels as his language eludes schools and their systematic applications, while never falling into superficiality. His music, nourished by technical findings, is never a leisurely demonstration of resources but the organic result of a creative vision, as imaginative as it is sophisticated and rigorous.
