Quartet Glinka BCN & clarinetist Josep Fuster offers a suggestive selection of quintets. From Anton Reicha Quintet for clarinet in B Flat and Ludwig Spohr´s Fantasy and variations on a theme of Danzi Op. 8, both outstanding examples of balance between virtuosity and expressiveness. The CD comes to an end with the Quintet for clarinet and strings, K581, one of Mozart most inspired chamber works.
