Granados: Quinteto, Danzas y Romanzas

This chamber music CD consists of works of E. Granados and presents for the first time complete versions of: Quinteto Opus 49, Romanza, Spanish Dance No.10, and a Bach Chorale. This CD is the result of a research into archives very spread out that hold manuscripts of these scores. The pianist and researcher Mac McClure saw that the works were not often performed because the manuscripts were incomplete or poorly edited, Outstanding among the eight pieces on this CD is the Quintet Op. 49 which reflects an expressive inspiration and the true musical gift of Granados.
