Plural Ensemble is an instrumental ensemble specialized in the music of the 20th and 21st centuries, founded by Fabian Panisello, its chief conductor. Always looking for the highest interpretative quality, it develops annually a stable season of concerts and tours, alternating the most demanding soloist repertoire with works for ensemble.
The works presented here cover fifteen years of the work of the composer François Paris in the field of instrumental music without technological devices (the voice in the Sisco trio receives an instrumental and chamber treatment).
François Paris has known the musicians of the PluralEnsemble for a long time and knows that they are familiar with his music, as they have often performed it. They do not start from a blank page, but can, on the contrary, count on a real artistic complicity that has been consolidated over the years.
Recorded thanks to the collaboration of the MFA.
