More info

The content of this recording is the OBC (Barcelona Symph.) live concert in 2000 while performing a new reading of Mary's hymn by S. Brotons. Music is based on a text attributed to Jacopone da Todi, a monk-poet of the 13th century. The hymn is about Mary's pain on the foot of the Cross and the composer invested four years (1996-2000) into his Stabat Mater, an outstanding work that deeply expresses pain, love and hope.
