Performed with admirable sensitivity by Alex Alguacil, Brotons piano piece integrates, into an extremely rich Catalan musical tradition, elements that might initially seem peripheral mainly Russian and American sounds but which fundamentally reveal an omnivorous musical taste and a deep knowledge of the profession. This is undoubtedly a very solid contribution to the piano repertoire.
